LESSON NO.18:ROLES AND FUNCTIONS OF AN EDUCATIONAL MEDIA CENTER

                           The educational media center functions as a vital instrument as well as a basic requirements for quality education by enriching all parts of the school's education process. In this lesson, we can also understand with its different functions and uses. This are some of the example of its functions, it reflects and supports the philosophy of the school and it shares and implements the school's aim and objectives. And here are also the EMC Services (Orientation, Selection of a print and non print materials, Organization of  print and non print materials, Reference, Bibliographic service and etc...). An EMC is a facility designed for the housing and utilization of all educational media with in the school. An EMC must be a functional EMC.

LESSON NO.17:ASSESSMENT IN A CONSTRUCTIVIST, TECHNOLOGY-SUPPORT LEARNING

                           In this lesson we learn from and with technology. Technology is seen as a sources of information that the student learn from in the same way. In this lesson also it is said that student should go beyond memorizing for tests and should not study only for a passing grade and a passing score. And for more information it is not bad for a student to memorize for a test and there are some that will take in MEMORY PLUS food supplement to increase their power to memorize neither it is bad to study for scores and grade.

LESSON NO.16:USING THE PROJECT-BASED LEARNING MULTIMEDIA AS A TEACHING-LEARNING STRATEGY

                    In this lesson, I realize that it is not easy to be a teacher. You should know those strategy that will help you to be a good and effective teacher. You should prepare and plan what you've wanted to do for that day. In this lesson there are the following steps suggested by Michael Simkins, et al.. who  are experts in project based multimedia learning. Goals and objectives are always the starting points of planning. In planning it must begin by clarifying our goals ad objectives. There are also a following steps before the project starts. As a teacher and or future teacher to be, we should know this.

LESSON NO.14:MAXIMIZING THE USE OF THE OVERHEAD PROJECTOR AND THE CHALKBOARD

                      I learned in this lesson that in using a chalkboard can help in teaching.In fact a school may have no computer, radio, t.v, etc.but it will always have a chalkboard. So why not make optimum use of what we have the chalkboard. There are lot of practices that may help us in the effective use of chalkboard like this main practice that you should write clearly and legibly on the board. That is an example of a good practice that may help you. I learned also that there are chalkboard techniques to be followed. Overhead projector is indeed a very versatile equipment.This can help also to make your student understand what you have discuss.

LESSON NO.15:PROJECT-BASED LEARNING AND MUTIMEDIA: wHAT IS IT?

                        Project-based multimedia is a teaching method in which students " acquire new knowledge and skills in the coarse of designing, planning, and producing multimedia product ". Here are the seven key dimensions (CORE CURRICULUM, REAL-WORLD CONNECTION, EXTENDED TIME FRAME, STUDENT DECISION MAKING, COLLABORATION, ASSESSMENT, AND MULTIMEDIA ). Even though that we can say that this will really help in having an effective teaching techniques there is also some limitations in using this. This is one of the limitation that you must avoid the tendency to lose track of your lesson objectives because the technology aspects has gotten the limelight. If you and your students are not familiar with the computer, you can still go project-based multimedia teaching by using other appropriate media.

LESSON NO.13: TEACHING WITH VISUAL SYMBOLS

                             In this lesson, I learned that in teaching we should also used a visual strategy. There are many kinds of visual strategy and here are the following (GRAPH,CARTOONS,DRAWING,DRAWING STRIP,DIAGRAM,AND CHART,MAP).You can used this in times of giving your student an activity.There are also some kinds of map,chart and diagram.It is very helpful and we in this way also we can identify if a child really understand what you are discussing all about.

LESSON NO.12:THE POWER OF FILM,VIDEO,AND T.V IN THE CLASSROOM

                          I learn in this lesson that in the use of film,video,and t.v are some of the best techniques for an effective teaching. As a teacher it must be apply also for you to be understandable with your students. It has been said by Dale that film,video and t.v transmit a wide range,it bring models of excellence to the views and etc.Students will really reflect with your specific discussion with the help of those technology. And it can give opportunity to the teachers to view themselves while they teach.
